May was another busy month at work but I had time to do some shopping during Memorial day weekend. Due to Memorial day weekend and my anniversary with BF, the food category was quite high. Groceries along was $363.  We ate very well though. If you see the Instagram pictures to the right, you will see we had Chilean sea bass, crab, and Mongolian hot pot, and these were just a few of the things we had in May. On top of that I also stocked up coconut water from Costco for the next few months. Not included in this table is an extra monthly payment of $1,000 to mortgage* principal and a $250 monthly expense for half of the Las Vegas rental property.

May Passive Income = $ 457.44

May Expenses = $ 2,793

Shortage = $ 2,335.56

My May passive income covers only about 20% of monthly expenses.

Cheers,

Lady Butterfly
