November was a big month in expenses. Between Thanksgiving, Black Friday and paying my semi-annual property tax, I was almost red for the month. Food and Childcare categories went over budget.

My property tax is due early December, but I usually pay at the end of the month before its due. It is a big chunk of my expenses at $3,568.97. For Thanksgiving we had a small gathering with our quarantine pod. Unfortunately, I was not able to spend any time with my parents or brothers since Shelter in Place. We were able to get an organic turkey from a small farm and ordered almost everything we need from Whole Foods/Amazon. I do a lot of my shopping for Baby Butterfly on Black Friday. She is outgrowing my friend’s kid who is 2 years older and some of the hand-me-downs don’t fit Baby Butterfly by the time we get them. She is on the tall side for her age.
Monthly Income = $ 957.85
Monthly Expenses = $ 5,144.66
Shortage = $ 4,186.81
My November passive income covers 19% of my monthly expenses and year to date is 47%.
Cheers,
Lady Butterfly
